Still hovering

I'm still hovering around 98-100 kg.... why?

Is it because I didn't control my eating? Or is it because I ate so much KFC on my departure night for my job? Or is it because I took too much free tasty food at a recent conference? Or is it because I ate KFC again on Thursday?

Anyway... I'll really need a resolution to settle my binge eating... Also must reduce the fact that I have a 'eat a lot' reputation.... it's getting more and more prominient.

Dinners are snacks

Hmm... My weight isn't going down... yet.

still stuck at 98kg, peaking at 100kg at times.

Yeah, it's scary, but I've reached back the three digit mark again.

Anyway, I'm doing vigororus cycling to and fro work, and pushups/crunches/bridges three times a week.

Finally reaching 3x of 15 pushups, and trying for the triangle pushup.

Hmm... I should also start eating fruits now. Which reminds me that I ate two bananas today instead of another plate of chicken rice.

Dinners are snacks?

You bet. No time to eat dinner, so I try to fill my stomach with brownies and coffee. This should end today, as it's the last day of my lectures.

Must... lose weight while working/studying/training.....

Status quo

what's that word?

I dunno.

Anyway, it's time to shake the dust off this blog, well, before it gathers again.

Status: 97-99kg.

Regime: 5 days of cycling of 20 km from and to work. (Also depends whether I oversleep or too tired.)

Every two days: well.....

a) 12 Pushups *3 (Increasing by one per week)
b) 15 front crunches (which still sucks)
c) 15 lunges (still not using weights yet.)

Saturday: training at the beach. Hell.

So.... how to get back to 93 kilos, with muscles? And there is the impending world beach ultimate championships in december.... must save money. Most likely cutting down on food as well.

It's plateau. Then again, it's not.

Alright. blog drought here. I ain't got a life, just read below and you'll understand...

Anyway, updates:

My weight has dropped from 105 to 95kg. All thanks to the mountain bicycle that my friends gave me, I got the motivation to exercise again. Cycling is really enjoyable, and it doesn't really take a toll on your knees. Travelling-wise, it's a good alternative, although you need more time to travel. I pretty much cycle as a form of transportation from place to place, with a minimum distance of 10km.

After the horrendous eat-n-eat trip in Taiwan (That was what I looked like on the last third day in Taiwan), I started to watch my diet and exercise in particular. I even had a bingo book to keep track of my diet, and how much I run/cycle, and how much calories I actually have in deficit. I had a target of getting to my original weight of 95kg.

Apologies for not posting it on the blog.... it's just too troublesome. I've got another blog, but I'm really avoiding it.

But it is effective. In the span of eight weeks or more, from October to early December. My weight dropped to 95kg. Just in time before X'Mas dinner!!

After that, it's procastinating to carry on to phase two. I did regular cycling, but I kind of forgot about my diet. At least I ate in moderation....

That is, until I got a job and entered the rat race... my whole week is now like this:

Mon-Thurs: Work from 9pm - 11pm.
Fri: Cycle to work (10 km only la) and knock off at 6pm. Either cycle home, or cycle as far as possible and come back by 2pm in the morning. Or playing texas Hold 'em and chomping on chips.

Sat: Beach Ultimate Training / Beach Ultimate for half a day
Sun: Ultimate League for half a day + household chores.

Repeat that for the weeks to come. That's pretty much my life, and I doubt it'll be interesting.

The way I eat at work is frightening. I wonder how my weight manages to stay at 95kg until now. Two months and counting! Basically it's bread, cereal or a bowl of instant noodles for Breakfast; Chicken rice, two servings of a meal or two dishes; Dinner is either instant noodles or fast food. There's also tea break which is regular, always involving two or more chocolate chip biscuits.

That much said, I am really happy with my weight at 95kg. But it has to go down even more. Until 80kg.

When the Chinese New Year period is over, I'll resume my regime. I got the feeling that my knees might not be able to take my weight anymore, and with the training for the Beach Tournament, I've got to get fit... for the first time.

Gotta get down to 85 kg for 2-3 months! 10kg! Date to start soon after CNY.
